Statement

The main objective of Vector-Logistics Health and Safety Policy is to provide an effective system of ensuring the safety of life and health of employees. The senior management is committed to protect the employees from illness and injury by respecting local laws, regulatory standards, ergonomic requirements to workplace and socio-psychological factors. The head management is committed to continuing improvement toward an accident-free workplace through effective administration, education and on-time training.

We believe that the well-being of our colleagues, partners, vendors and customers depends on the health and safety. The effects from the workplace can have a strong influence on an employee’s health outside the work environment; We also believe that healthy team and colleagues are more happy and productive.

We act to protect health and increase safety by working in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and all applicable regulations and safe work practices and procedures established by our company and local legislation and sanitary directives.

We recognize that a safe work environment can be established and sustained only through a united effort by all team members and that the assistance and understanding of each colleague is required. Our attitude and cooperation in promoting accident prevention will assist in achieving our goals and make it a significant advantage for all.

Goals.

- To describe and present the commitment of Vector-Logistics to health and safety;

- Basis for removing or reducing the risks to the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues, vendors, partners, customer and visitors, and anyone else who may be affected by our business operations;

- Ensure all work activities are done safely.

Responsibilities

Vector-Logistics management are responsible for providing and maintaining:

- a safe working environment;

- safe systems of work;

- facilities for the welfare of all workers;

- information, instructions, trainings and supervision that is reasonably necessary to ensure that each worker is safe from injury and risks to health;

- a commitment to consult and co-operate with colleagues in all matters relating to health and safety in the workplace.

Vector-Logistics management is committed to a policy enabling all work procedures to be carried out safely, and with all possible measures taken to remove (or at least reduce) risks to the health, safety and welfare of colleagues, vendors, authorized visitors, partners, customers and anyone else who may be affected by company’s operations.

Colleagues are responsible for:

- ensuring their own personal health and safety, and that of others in the workplace;

- comply with any direction given by Vector-Logistics management for health and safety;

- not misuse or interfere with anything provided for health and safety;

- report all accidents and incidents on the job immediately, no matter how trivial;

- report all known or observed hazards to their supervisor or manager.

Application of this policy

Vector-Logistics believes in co-operation of all colleagues, vendors, partners, customers and other persons. We encourage suggestions for realising our health and safety objectives to create a safe working environment with a zero accident rate.

This policy applies to all business operations and functions, including those situations where workers are required to work off-site.
